Delete your account and data.
You can ask us to permanently delete your Vyra account and the data associated with it at any time. Here's how, and exactly what happens.

In short. Request deletion from inside the Vyra app or by email. We verify it's you, then permanently delete your account and your personal and health data within 30 days. Vyra is operated by Vyra Health, Inc., a Delaware corporation (in formation).
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app. Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account, then follow the prompt to confirm your request with our team.
Option 2 — By email. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account."
We confirm the request comes from the account owner before we act on it. If you don't have access to your account email, contact us and we'll verify your identity another way.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete:
- Your account and sign-in records (email and authentication identifiers).
- Your profile and goals.
- Your food logs and any meal photos you uploaded.
- Any optional health data you added — lab results, medications, conditions, weight, hydration, and related notes.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Limited legal records. We retain a small set of records we're legally required to keep — for example, subscription and payment records needed for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention — only for as long as the law requires, after which they're deleted.
- Backups. Deleted data is removed from active systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups on a rolling cycle of up to 90 days.
- De-identified analytics. Product analytics and crash diagnostics are keyed to a non-reversible hashed identifier and contain no health data, so they can't be tied back to you.
Timeframe
We complete account and data deletion within 30 days of verifying your request, except for the limited legal records and backup-purge window described above.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can delete individual entries in the app, turn off any optional health module, or email [email protected] to request deletion of specific data. See our Privacy Policy for your full rights.
